The Void in Our Hands EP is my response to the way that social media, via our mobile phones, has imposed itself upon our lives more than ever in 2020. It is a response to the way in which Coronavirus has defined us, showing us our fragility and insignificance, how it has brought us together and divided us, and how it has been used as a political weapon. It is about the insanity of politics, here in the UK but mainly in the USA, where, as I write, President Trump clings to power in ways that defy belief. It is about the willful polarization of people's beliefs, the deepening of our intolerances, and hatred.

Tracks 1-3 is a brutal railing against our times while track 4 is offered as a reminder of the beauty of the world, in spite of everything. All tracks are improvised synthesizer explorations, recorded at high volume and with little in the way of editing.
I hope these tracks resonate with you and provide some sort of healing catharsis, but this will only happen if you turn it all the way up.
